From the moment you enter our home, one thing becomes abundantly clear: we're a bit nuts about our animals! But we come by it honestly: there's a long line of Animal Lovers in our family. There is Shelly's ferrets, Shauna's amazing Guinea Pigs, our mother's three spoiled pups and of course, a growing number of Snowshoes. But it's just one big happy - if sometimes rambunctious - family. Running a sanitary, healthy cattery is always a challenge, but having lived with pets our entire lives, we've developed excellent husbandry skills.

Our Snowshoes are dedicated "Quality Control" specialists when it comes to Shelly's handiwork. Seamstress extraordinaire, our sister custom crafts cat beds, hammocks, cage pads and more. (Check out Beds by Shelly for details.) The gang feels its their professional duty to bestow the Official Snowshoe Stamp of Approval on all her designs. To the far right, Belle tests her fleece-lined bed to ensure it's comfortable enough for a princess. (And is there a better girl for the job?) Pictured in the center, Jetaime, Lacey and Toby give their bed the two paws up. And once again on the far right, the gang does field research to see just how many cats can fit into their bed. A Snowshoe's work is never done!

Our guinea pigs have also greatly enriched our lives. Chippers, the handsome fluffy fellow on the far right amazed everyone with his sweet, quirky ways. He just passed away this past June at the age of six. It will be a long time before we stop missing him. Even Lacey enjoys baby-sitting the pigs, shown on the far right shown snuggling with Leo. The pigs would strongly disagree and say that they were babysitting him. Click here or on the button below for more pictures of our Cavvies.

Shelly often recruits Pacey, one of the junior varsity members of the K-9 squad, to help model her fashions. Do you think that pup hats will be all the craze for dogs next season? Pacey certainly hopes not!

We hope you enjoyed your visit to our home and didn't find it too tiring. Relaxing is very important to us . . . well, at least some of us!
